Sweet Stampin challenge no 6

I am so loving these challenges over at http://sweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ and this week it's a sketch to follow.

For my creation I needed to make a male sbirthday card for a choccie lover and this cute stamp from House mouse is a firm fav of mine. coloured using Pro markers and matted onto chocolate chip SU cardstock. Pretty paper from My mind's eye bloom n grow.

Sentiment is from Craftwork cards, heart cut from chipboard freehand and mounted onto a prima flower.

Mojo Monday wk 118/Sweet Stampin no 5

http://sweetstampinchallengeblog.blogspot.com

I love doing Mojo Monday's challenges and this weeks sketch is pretty simple so a fab quick card to get your juices flowing.
I had this cute Owl stamp set from Hero Arts and knew this was the image to use for this weeks challenge.
Kept the same tones of colour for cardstock as with Owl to tie in and stamped the sentiment stamp ( a gift from a friend on the Shack today in the Post) so it is only fitting after the hols to send this card as a Thankyou.
Punch from SU.
I am also submitting this for Sweet Stampin challenge this week as it includes a punch .

Sweet Stampin wk 4

This week over at Sweet Stampin we were set a colour challenge usint the colurs brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue, Old olive and More Mustard.

For my card I used Bashful Blue brayered along the bottom of my cardstock and a thin strip of old olive to adorn Brilliant Blue buttons die cut from my Sizzix. Using stamp set Toy Box I stamped onto white cardstock using Brilliant Blue and coloured the yachts star n stripes in Old olive directly from the ink pad using a watercolour brush. I cut my square mounts using nestabilities in Old Olive and Blue and mounted my images. I then used Toy box Star stamp and stamped the 3rd white cardstock mount using Bashful Blue and Sentiment to compliment in Old Olive.
Inks used were Bashful Blue, Old Olive , Brilliant Blue.
Stamp set used Toy Box from SU.

Simple layout cards really do test me as Im so used to layering lots of different papers, but I think I'm happy with this result.

The die cut branch is from sizzix birds n branches extended cuts.

Cardstock...old olive/choc chip both from SU.

Not sure on my layout this time however this is all the paper I had with a hint of pink, looks like a shopping trip is in order !!
